Winemaking notes: The Merlot was harvested in mid September 2021. Fermented in stainless steel tanks, After pressing the wine spent several months in tanks followed by 19 months in new Darnajou French Oak 225 liter barrels. The wine was bottled in early 2024.
Tasting notes: The Merlot possesses a deep inky color. Full powerful nose with components of vibrant varietal aromas, with hints of sweet French oak and a bit of black cherry. It is extremely full bodied with concentrated fruit flavors framed wht the typical Darnajou oak giving the wine many layers of complexity. The finish is extremely long and delightful. The tannins are firm but polished allowing for current enjoyment, while also possessing great potential for further development with additional aging. Ideal for pairing with heavier fare.

Winemaking notes: The Sangiovese was harvested in mid and late September 2021. The two pickings were fermented separately in stainless steel tanks then blended together shortly after the completion of the fermentation. The Sangiovese was aged in tanks for 7 months followed by 18 months in 4-500 liter Tonneaux, if you are thinking Darnajou you would be correct!
Tasting notes: The 2021 Sangiovese possesses a very dark garnet color. Typical of Sangiovese, it has very forward aromas of fruit, which is nuanced with French Oak. From the first taste, the wine exhibits bright acidity matched with powerful multi layered fruit. It is quite full bodied with an extremely long and enjoyable finish. The balance between the varietal fruit and the subtle oak makes this wine very enjoyable. This wine, like the Merlot, is quite enjoyable now, but will also certainly reward those patient enough to let it age in their cellar for a bit of time. The Sangiovese is quite versatile as it can be paired with anything from grilled meats to full flavored cheeses or even enjoyed just on its own.

Our RoSaH rosato is made from Sangiovese and Viognier grapes grown next to the small town of San Damiano just outside of Todi. The grapes are harvested, crushed and gently pressed as quickly as possible. The wine is then cold co-fermented in stainless steel tanks, filtered and bottled, all as quickly as possible to preserve the fresh fruit aromas and flavors for our customers' enjoyment. It has a lovely light pink colour, delightful floral notes and a well-balanced flavor with a nice crisp finish. Perfect for a warm summer afternoon, or frankly any season where a fresh crisp wine is desired.

Our RoSaH rosato is made from Sangiovese grown by the Tovo vineyard, immediately next to the small town of San Damiano, and Viognier grapes. The rosato grapes are harvested, crushed and gently pressed as quickly as possible. The wine is cold fermented in stainless steel tanks, filtered and bottled, all as quickly as possible so that it would hold on to its forward fruit for our customers' enjoyment. It has a lovely light pink colour, delightful floral notes and a well balanced flavor with a nice crisp finish.
